That is the spirit in which I write. My aim is to pass on methods that work, explained in plain language, so that you can put them to use in your own life straight away. Think of me as a friendly guide, or perhaps an uncle who has walked the path before and wants to save you a few wrong turns. Oh, that sounds so pompous, I am just trying to use the experiences of my mistakes so that you can avoid them.

Others look at sleep, because a good night’s rest is the foundation on which everything else is built. (For many years sleep was problematic for me).
